The Saltlines Journal 

Saltlines is the innovative words and music collaboration between Raynor Winn and The Gigspanner Big Band - intertwining new prose written by Raynor and reimagined folk song from the south west. A show that has left audiences spellbound - transported to another world of crashing waves, and gulls calling on the wind.

But our audiences wanted more – they wanted to hear the story of how this began, to see the words of the prose and songs, to go backstage with the band – they wanted to take the show home.

So we’ve created just that. The Saltlines Journal documents the show in every detail – from photos of the band and Ray in their creative infancy, through first rehearsals, to the final song of the show - with personal contributions from everyone involved throughout.

The Saltlines Journal is a record of the show, but it’s so much more than that. It’s a beautiful standalone book, full of captivating imagery that can be enjoyed by anyone.
